bassman Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 I used to like these in the pre 95 days, but the 09s I have are just too mellow for such a large cigars. The 09 Coronas though, are truly great cigars.
BonVivant Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Thank you for a wonderful review! I heard that the larger the cigar, being rolled in Cuba, the mellower is the blend..., so it looks dangerous, but not much danger, in reality. Most of larger sizes Cuban cigars are quiet mild, full flavored and very enjoyable. Partagas Salomones is a great example of Partagas of old, without the blast of modern pepper or overwhelming spices. Bolivar Churchills and Corona Gigantes are the exceptions, IMHO - very strong cigars!
rckymtn22 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Don't leave it outside if from bali Good point, thanks for the heads up.
ramon_cojones Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 based on the review I would have thought this was at least a 95 point cigar!
dan5974 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Very underrated brand.I wish they made more sizes.Being as I'm a small smoke fan,I would love this blend in a perla or minuto.
