I was just talking today with one of German LCDH. Beside couple of boxes of Escuderos I will take Bolivar Especiales No.2 (2009) as well.

OK Gotcha Lisa thank you..,I think the German pallet prefers stronger stix with more kick etc. This would be a good question for CLaus or Nino??

They are AWESOME and ready to smoke!! I am on my third box. People on the German forum have been raving about the Boli 5ta Avenida lately as well which was an underperformer in the past. Looks like they've come around, just in time for the Jar release. I'll try another single in September when I am back.

@Lisa, I bet the RA Belicosos German RE would change your mind - one of the best cigars I've ever had, period. The box I scored is waiting at my buddy's house near Stuttgart - hope he doesn't smoke them LOL

I bought a fiver from Lisa of these. haven't tried one yet so it is good to hear people's views on these.

I am a big fan of the bolivar 5th Avenita 109 and the Boli especiales. I would stock a couple more boxes if I had the chance

There were reports that some of them were too tightly rolled similar as Por Larranaga Lonsdales (RE Germany, 2006).

Few months ago I tried two Especiales and they were just perfect.

I did bring back a couple of other German RE's I do believe, or smoked them there. Probably the Bolivars as I remember the long and skinnies, like a lancero?

It may have been Claus that recommended these Sancho Panza's. They were certainly rare, as only one box was to be had and it was the last one in the store I found and none at the others I visited.

But the Spain RE's, LGC's and others were dreamy.
