Ophidion Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 For the past few months I have been trying to get a full box or a few handfuls of LGC MDO2. I had previously heard some things about the LGCs a year or so ago and I always wanted to try them.I had my first one in Montreal at the LCDH and I fell in love (A few from early 08). After a lot of searching for a full box or even a handful, I was finally able to find a vendor that had a few boxes (thanks to Claus for the heads up). It took a few days but when I got back from my business trip I had two boxes of LGC MdO2 OGA DIC 11 sitting at my doorstep. Both of them smell incredible and have great construction. One box has a somewhat lighter wrapper and one has a much darker wrapper that I had never seen in a LGC before... Here is the fruits of my labor: Persistence pays off.
Lotusguy Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Enjoy them in good health! Glad they arrived safely
ohioldd Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Congratulations! I have seen a couple on LFTH but was not able to pull the trigger because I wanted to try a single or two before I pulled the trigger! Enjoy!
Ophidion Posted June 10, 2012 Author Posted June 10, 2012 I haven't seen them for sale ever except for about 24 hours on a site when I didn't have the money for them. They vanished before I got a chance so I didn't hesitate this time.
carnivalhobo Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 i would love to know as well, can always use more LGC's for a rainy day, still need the tainos and #3 for the set
Colt45 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Great cigars! I've an '07 box and an '08 box in storage.....
nikesupremedunk Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Would like a PM also please..want to try real LGC, not a dominican LGC
LGC Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Nice looking sticks. Maybe it's just me, but I've never been blown away by the #2's... From 1994 to 1998 box codes. I just prefer a heavier wrapper to filler ratio when it comes to the lighter blends. The #4's are one of my favorite sticks, with the #1's in second place.
hardrock86 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 When I went to Switzerland they had a ton of 2002 boxes...picked up a nice super dark box that was still sealed (before I checked it obviously)
mk05 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 The darker ones are obviously fake. Send them to me for proper disposal. You can just put them into the box pass with my name on it.

Lotusguy Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I owe you big time You owe me nothing, brother I just wish I had more funds and space to pick up a couple more boxes myself. Holding out for an aged box...
