So what are your hobbies? No need to say family and friends etc etc that's a given. Mine are:

Rugby (Just coming to the end of playing after 30 years but will now coach and ref)

Horseracing (Flat and jumps)

Cigars (that's why I am here)

So what are yours??

Passionate about golf and most sports. Cigars, fine Belgian Ales and whiskeys (new to whiskeys).

But my biggest hobby is woodworking and furniture making. Built a lot of furniture for my own and made my own office suite for the office:

Wow. Those desks are amazing! Wish you lived in Australia so that I could commission one off you.

My hobbies include cars, long distance shooting (tactical, f-class and target rifle), olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, scotch (specifically islay malts), cigars (obviously) and rugby (both playing and watching).

Here's my list, in order of importance to me (and not including family as suggested by the OP).

1. I am an avid gun collector and shooting enthusiast. Last time I counted I had over 120 firearms in the collection, but I've done a lot of horse trading in the last year or so and would need to recount to see where I'm at. The majority of my collection is martial in nature, primarily spanning the end of the 19th Century through the middle of the 20th Century. I've got many more modern examples, too, but I prefer the craftsmanship and history of the older firearms.

2. Hockey. The greatest sport known to man. I haven't played any games in years (getting way too old for that), but I like to hit the ice a few times each winter with the wifey and friends to hit some pucks around, etc. I love watching the NHL on the tube and enjoy living in a town that's home to one of the more storied teams in college hockey.

3. German cars. I've driven German cars all my life. The only temporary move away from German cars was when I first moved to North Dakota and figured my 1985 VW Scirocco would need to be replaced with something more North Dakoty. So I got a Ford Explorer. Boo. I then moved to a 2007 VW GTI MkV and loved that car until I traded it on my 2011 Audi S4. I've driven many other car types (Japanese and American, primarily) but I've always loved the manner in which the Germans build their cars. The Audi S4 is one of the greatest car designs ever made, IMHO. I've had it for a little less than a year now and I still get a smile on my face every day. Cornering, power, AWD, and sexy-beast good looks. What's not to like?

4. Cigars. I love cigars, but of everything else on the list they're the one I could live without first. I gave up ciagarettes 5 or 6 years ago and never looked back, but always knew I could never voluntarily give up cigars. I've been smoking cigars for years, but it's only really been in the last year or so that I've really gotten into Cuban cigars. I've always pooh-poohed those who say CCs make NCs pointless, but I'm very quickly learning the truth to that notion... I just wish they were easier to acquire. :)

Cheers,

~ Greg ~

Cigars

Motorcycles (Harley mostly but I also have an 81 Honda cb750 turned into a cafe racer)

Wine (not much since I've been in PDC)

Scotch (also not much since I've been in PDC)

Golf (was a 3-4 round per week guy in 2000-2005 and then at least once per week until I moved to Mexico. Breaking my leg my first month here put a dent into that and I haven't swung a club since)

For over 50 years I'm making French Poodles out of solid copperwire. The smallest ones are made with telephonewire and takes approx.50 ft of wire. The biggest I ever made was out of 10AWG and approx.300 ft of wire and the size of a Toy Poodle.Time to make one is anywhere from 45min.to 5 hrs.

Other than that I like gardening and traveling.

Taking care of my wife and family is my only passion other than, and above, cigars.

Single malt whisky (single malt scotch to be exact) comes in third.

Other people around me might say my business. But, in truth, my work/business is just a tool to afford me my first passion.

Great cigars, family, friends, drinks, food, weather, music, conversation and just about anything that allows me to enjoy all of that more often.

Alabama football is a given passion where I am from though and luckily I can enjoy that while doing all of the above.

Pretty simple existence here. Everything else just seems to get in the way.
