Rye Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Nice!! How are they smoking? I've a couple of singles left in my desktop but haven't cracked into them still They were very good! Huge volumes of blue smoke, with loads of great Punch floral notes, and a finish second to none. It was an amazing journey packed in such a small cigar. I was gifted one to add to my collection as well as the one I smoked, and I'm not sure whether to smoke it, or look at it fondly and reminisce!
Puros Y Vino Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I really like what this thread has become. Keep 'em coming! Rob. Methinks it's time for another photo contest! What say you?
Nino Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Some pics I took at our most recent Cigar meeting :
AlohaStyle Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Nino... that Partagas looks a little too crusty.
Duxnutz Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Some pics I took at our most recent Cigar meeting : Holy crap, that cigar is as big as a jumbo!
Nino Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Nino... that Partagas looks a little too crusty. Partagas Suaves from '65 +/- and still going strong ;-)
markmurase Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Great box of Montecristo Grand Edmundo 2010. Easily the best I've seen. Also interesting to see how the oils react to flash photography. Gotta love that cab of Lusis
Rye Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 The prototype worked, so I went for a couple of trickier models!
Strada Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 The prototype worked, so I went for a couple of trickier models! Great Job!
nikesupremedunk Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 A couple of shots that turned out pretty well
srsMichael Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 hate to break it to you OP but that Boli B-2 is waste of time. All the other ones are good though the most photogenic cigars IMO are PL RE's. That sexy gold band against the RE band always looks great!
maverickdrinker Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 WOW!! WE have some great photographers here. Amazing work guys. Thanks for sharing..

TheFullMontecristo Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Rye, those pyrmids look like Scud missiles lol nikesupremedunk, what kind of camera did you use to take those very sharp pics. That close up shot of the foot is amazingly clear.

That close up shot of the foot is amazingly clear. I'm shooting with a Canon 5D Mark II. The lens used was a EF 100mm f2.8L IS Macro and a 430EXII flash. I pretty much bought the macro lens to take pics of my cigars
