That's a great photo Greg!!!! I just polished off a bottle of 21 year portwood.....sad.png

Thanks! I'm down to my last third of my current bottle. Will need to pick up another soon. It is indeed mighty tasty!

Cheers,

taken with a cell phone camera. I would like to see some of you guys who take good pictures with a whole box of these Encantos. Excellent cigar!

Those old style silver tubes just scream Cuba to me. Whoever made the decision to swap them all out for the Fisherprice inspired ones we have now should be ashamed. Upmann are the worst, sickly pale yellow and orange, really?

Cubans don't need flashy tubes or bands to sell, they sell themselves.

QDO has the perfect presentation and bands for me, just simple, elegant and understated. They say just sit quietly in their box and smirk to themselves when someone passes on their plain cedar box for some flashy box with shiny banded cigars inside. They know that guy wouldn't have appreciated them anyway.

Relatively new to my collection: Montecristo Tubos from 2008. Had to chase down a box for long term aging after having had an outstanding one from the early 1990s. Not visible in this pic, but construction of these is impacable with extremely dark and oily wrappers.
