A dear member of FOH, Riaz, has been missing in action for some time now. He is going through very sad personal problems. I would like to ask everyone to put his spirits up!

How? Whatever it is, a joke, a word of encouragement, a funny picture, post it up! :2thumbs:

STAY STRONG BUDDY! :buddies:

I met Riaz before I joined FoH and from the few hours I got to spend with him I could tell he is a pretty good fellow and a funny guy. Hope all is well and there are two humidors full of goodies waiting for you when you make it to my neck of the woods.

Riazp,

I have been exactly in your shoes. Circumstances may, or may not be, different, but I know your pain. And, for anyone that has not been through this, it is rip-your-heart-out devastation (at least it was for me).

One thing that helped me was to stay connected and close to friends and family. Don't allow an idle mind. Also, find a support group. I was so skeptical until my first session. Talking through my situation with a small group of people going through the same thing was healing and, surprisingly to me, gave me great hope. I was also told to go home after work and to write in a journal. Spill your guts to the paper or keyboard. This was easily the single most therapeutic and liberating thing I did for myself because I could vent, *****, cry, mourn, hate, love, and it was just for me. Unbelievable freedom from this seemingly simple, benign act.

This is going to hurt for a long time, Riazp. My therapist said to allow three months of healing for every year I was with my wife. I found that to be spot on true. It's cliche, but also true; time will heal this wound. I found bottom through this experience, but also found the top of my game after the hurt was gone. you WILL get better. You will again be great!

God bless you, brother.
