Riaz - you suck.

There, I think I balanced out all this positive vibe crapola! :devil2::stir:

Seriously though....you really suck.

;):P

We got your back on here, brah. Can't wait for the next time we can all get together again, and share rum and stogies once more. :buddies:

Cheers and best wishes for better days ahead.

Riaz,

This type of challenge in life will make you a better person. It hurts now my friend, but like I said in my e-mail, you have your little boy. That cute kid will always think you are the coolest guy in the world. So focus on him, your work and making yourself happy. Smoke as many cigars as you want, drink in moderation (of course) and hang out with friends. You are still really young and as crappy as it is a new chapter in your life has started and now is time to make it EPIC!!!!! You got your little man out of the last chapter and now you get to do whatever you want and build your life to fit your wants and needs. I know you will flourish because that is the type of person you are. Also, you said it the best of all "the cigar community is all about. BROTHERHOOD." We will be here for you as much as we can and I know the guys up in your neck of the woods will open their arms and humidors to you as much as they can. To echo Claus, if you are ever down my way my door and humidor are open :)

NMJoe, Thank you so much for taking time out to write that brother. I really appriciate that and you have given me some very helpfull advice that I will defenitly put into use. The journal part is probably exactly what I need.

As much as I would love to do a west coast tour A- Dont have cash for that. B- My son lol.

This Brotherhood is truly amazing. I wish those cigar nazies could see the support you guys are offering. This is what this is all about, like Robs Mantra, Laughter Loyalty Friendship and a good cigar dont hurt either.

I got some vacation time coming up at the end of the month, Might go down to AC with my boys and have a boys weekend. Change my mind a bit.

Cheers All

Sorry to have missed that one during the week-end.

I'm all with you Riaz. Don't forget that there is light at the end of the tunnel and if that light happens to be the one at the foot of my cigar, you'll have the choice of my humidor any time you visit Toronto!

Plenty of good advice have already been given here, but there is one which is also very important: treat well the next woman who will cross your path because whatever your anger with the previous person, the next one is a different individual who doesn't have to pay for the 'pots cassés'!!! And, of course, make the moments you are going to spend with your son count double because he is and will always be the most important person in your life.

All the very best,

Michel

Keep focused on what's best for you right now. Put yourself first for a while and figure out what makes you happy. The one thing I've really had to have faith in over the past month or so is, no matter what we think, or what our time schedule is, or how angry we get or how confused we are as to why things happen the way the do - at the end of the day, everything happens for a reason, and it's not up to us. yo umay not ralize why these things happen immediatly, but sometime, down the road, you will realize and see why things happen the way they do.

Come on down to Texas, you are always welcome and will have cigars and lodging.

Hi Riaz

Though we have never met, my thoughts are with you (have been through similar experience 4yrs ago)

With the love and support of your family, friends and FOH community you will get through this.

All the best and stay strong.

Riaz,

As you can see, lots of us think you're a great guy. I'd love to have a cigar with you sometime.

Focus on yourself, and the good things that you still have that make you happy.

Stay strong!

Having survived a similar "life changing" event years ago - I can assure you you will come out of it stronger... and look back in time with clarity and wisdom. I guarantee you of this.

The trick is managaing your emotions and feelings in the meantime... there is some good advice in this thead.

Many have walked your trail... godspeed, my friend.

Riaz, wishing you an expedited process to arrive at the new normal. lots of good advice here on dealing with emotions et al, and of course focus on your sons well being through this time. positive thoughts your way buddy.
