Yes learn that the hard way ... ashed all over myself while teeing off.

We really ought to get one of these:

I've always enjoyed a cigar when I golf. The tee box markers and the edge of the golf cart usually make a good holder while I'm hacking away at the ball. I usually have one my one trick pony cigars on the course as the conversation/golf game tend to take center stage and I easily overlook the more subtle complexities of my more prized smokes.

Avid golfer and never smoked a cigar while golfing. I always felt it would take away from the game and that I wouldn't enjoy the cigar either. However I'm reconsidering that. I might try it soon as it seems to be an agreeable venue to smoke.

I use this holder on the course.

The cigar compadre.

Nope. Golf is hard enough without worrying about a cigar!

This is my opinion as well. The cigar can become very distracting. Although depending on the conditions and fellow players, if all is right, I am more than happy to smoke a cigar on the course. Otherwise, I always smoke one on the 19th hole :cigar:

Fuzz, Alan, those Cigar Minder clips (?, I think that's what they're called) work great. Had a few of those over the years. Very functional, yet simple, and inexpensive.

This is what I use on the golf course and various other places that I find myself smoking a cigar. This one is called the Grip Clip Cigar Holder and can be found for $10-15 USD:

Just came across one of these:

Apparently it is a cutter, cigar holder, divot tool and ball marker all in one.

Wow. That's actually kind of interesting looking. Somewhat strange, but still unique.

Thanks for sharing!

What don't you get?

It cuts your cigar, it has a divot tool, and when you stick it in the ground via the divot tool prongs, you can rest your cigar on it.

Beer on cigar course helll no unless i'm 9-10+ over par, I'll have a shot of scotch around the back end 9th, cigar on the golf course, I've had good and bad experiences usually take a light cigar like a AF Chateau Fuente Queen B when on the course playing but I still find that the nicotine messes up the normal flow.

I would also never take a good quality Cuban on the course while playing, I find it distracts you from the cigar itself. I'll save the CC after the round it done so I can sit outside the clubhouse on the patio and relax and fully enjoy the cigar with a good cold beer.

F#$@ now you got me wanting to hit the links with a cigar/beer after

P.S the black cigar clip is not the best have few friends that got it from Golf Town and hate it.
