MrGlass Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 This guy had an interesting approach: http://tinyurl.com/6t9fqjo After a devastating breakup, Eric Smith does the only sensible thing: he buys a full set of armor inspired by Halo.
Scdalak Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Boy I don't miss those days, but speaking strictly from plenty of experience ........This too shall pass, Time my friend, time......
Scott08 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 My wife of 8 years dumped me for a newer model on July 31 last year. I feel your pain. I moved across the country got a new job and made new friends and oh yes new girlfriends and all is well.

Drguano Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 My first wife got involved with a coworker after 10 years of marriage. Best thing she ever did for me. Didn't think so for a few years but that was 19 years ago and I have been remarried for 13 years now to someone who is delighted with who I am even though she quit smoking at my request before we got married and I started smoking cigars a few years later. She actually thinks that is funny! There is a book I recommend to anyone going through a relationship breakup. It is called "Crazy Time: Surviving Divorce and Building a New Life" by Abigail Trafford. It will keep you on an even keel. Hang in there, life gets better.
asmith Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Can I suggest you purchase a box of cigars, I always find its a great way to get over an ex!
emopunker2004 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Sorry to hear man. You should add smoke some cigars and take time to relax.
brazoseagle Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Can I suggest you purchase a box of cigars, I always find its a great way to get over an ex! Charlatan! It's true though.....
El Presidente Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 They are women. God made more than one for a reason (same goes for men). There are average ones, good ones, great ones, bad ones. Don't sell yourself short. Go for the great ones.

markmurase Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Perhaps plan a holiday to Bankok. It's a place you'd be able to tick-off quite a few of the 11 points

scinmyheart Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 hope you start feeling better soon about it all
benjaminbbush Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 As bad as it sucks right now, make sure you stop and realize that you are at a low point. There will come a day in the future when you meet someoneelse, maybe get married and have a kid and I hope that at that time you reflect on where you are then and think back to where you are now and you will really appreciate that time in the future. I have been in some pretty low points like this and they SUCK. Walk through the list and do whatever you can do to cut all contact. Otherwise, good luck. Ben
BradNC Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Very sorry to hear that man. Been there and it does suck. I know it makes no sense now but the pain will heal. Now I'm sure you feel it is all over but the best is around the corner. I'd say get together with some good friends and talk about everything else but this situation. I also agree with Shane's comment. : )
ckearns Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 You seemed to have a great time in Montreal without her. Keep your chin up bud and heed the good advice that's been shared. And when in doubt, repeat #11.
