I'm also a Spurs fan. Robinson and Kemp were my guys in the early 90's, then came Duncan. Most underrated player perhaps of all time.

I really started gravitating towards LeBron in Cleveland. He was quickly coming close to Duncan as my all time favorite player. The the decision, and I sold a ton of his cards, got rid of his jerseys I had and rooted against the Heat every single game. I still do. F them. :tantrum:

Yeah my old man and I started going for Spurs because of the big funda. But also Manu. I love Manu's unorthodox play.

You can't be real happy then.

Correct, it angers me to see him succeed. I hope he never wins a championship

Back on topic, Lin recorded 10/13 with 6 turnover, two of which were pretty bad. Overall, a solid game since the Knicks won easily.

I'm surprised to find a few Spurs fans here. I'm not a Spurs fan, but do live in SA and will be going to the March 7 game when the Knicks visit. Go Lin!

He has been turning it over a bit but I guess that happens a lot with young players. At least he's getting dimes to go with it. I wasn't sure how popular the Spurs are in the US. I'm on a spurs forum but people are usually so critical so figured spurs fans were few and far between out of SA

Do Australians always write the second "e" in a word backwards? Like everything else in that country? :devil2:

What do you mean "like evɘrything elsɘ in that country?

Well the return of Melo didn't go so well. They were really out of sync today but in my opinion they are moving the ball much better than pre Lin. Deron Williams did have one hell of a game for the Nets making it tough for NY.

...now comes the real test. 10 of their next 14 opponents have winning records. Next game Miami Heat.

Lin, Stoudemire, Melo, Fields, J.R Smith, Chandler, Novak ... Allstars and great role players, if they can work out how to play together this is a very good team.

**EDIT. Got it wrong. They have Atlanta next, then Miami. Back to Back ...ouch!

Hopefully Lin schools LeChoke and D-Whistle

I am with you on that...I want to see the heat go down....

did melo mess up the team dynamic? or will time allow them to build an even better team?

Melo had 11 points & 6 turnovers. It wasn't a great game for him. I think in time they will be a great team, Melo has to change the most. He can't be a ball stopper he has to make quick decisions, attack or keep the ball moving. In my opinion Lin is probably the key to making that happen for Melo. Melo is actually a very good passer, anyone who has watched enough of his games knows that. He knows himself he has to change his game to fit in and has admitted it, anyone who thinks he can't is underestimating him.

As for NY v Miami. If they turn the ball over like they have been recently they are in serious trouble. Turnovers rarely end well against the Heat.

I know Melo is a superstar and wants to ball in his hands a lot but he should play off the ball more. Lin will get him the ball and will result in less TOs. No doubt Melo can shoot and drive but with a capable PG he really should play as a slasher and be off the ball more
