dB69 Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I was searching for some old cigar tubes for photographing and I found a Cohiba water level meter. It was originally in a fake Esplendidos box which I got from a friend some years ago. Yes, the box was a glass-top one and I didn't pay anything for it. I thought to run a test to check the accuracy of the meter. First I had to set the bubble in the correct place by swaying the tool. It was little tricky, but I managed to center it. Then I waited for ten seconds and the bubble was slowly sliding to the right hand side. Another ten seconds and the bubble was disappeared. So, can't even use the tool anywhere. Actually, that wasn't my thought, but anyhow.. What are they thinking when they put a water level meter in a cigar box? Do you get balanced cigars if you store the box horizontally? Well, at least the meter brings me a wide smile every time I see it and that's not bad.
almudawi Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Seriously? A water level ? That gotta be the strangest thing ever.. Dumb but cool lol
cigcars Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I've seen a few of those water meter levelers in those glass top jobs. What is the reasoning in this, I wonder...for us to see how level our box of fakes can be!??

It's there for when you ask if the cigars are fake or not, the vendor can say, "Yeah they're real, they're on the level!"
ckile2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Next it will be a built in tape measure or clamp.
Habanos2000 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I somehow think it is supposed to fool people, that might not already be fooled by the cigars, that they're being humidified.
Rays98GoVols Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Never seen one in my life in a box of Cigars
