La Escepcion Selectos Finos

Well last saturday we had this nice club evening with La Escepcion, a parejo 38 x 166 with a special marriage champagne : Moet Gran Collecion magnum 1990.

All the 21 cigars smoked had a perfect construction and perfect draw. This is already a good news.

This is a POWERFUL cigar, young but strong.

Cannot be smoked on an empty stomach.

Nice colorado capa ( wrapper) with that elegant black anilla ( even if it is too much on the box).

Before lighting roasted coffee (almost burnt) and as soon I lit it it was rich in black pepper that was present in all the 3/3 of the cigar. Great evolution but never too strong to kill you.

I believe in these cigars there is LIGERO for sure in a quantity higher than in the Serie du Connoisseur no.2.

The cost is 13 euro, not cheap but I definitively like to smoke two of these than a Behike 52/4/6 or Cohiba 1966 ( just for the cost ).

p.s. : At the end I had a glass of one of the greatest champagne since these days Bruno Paillard NEC 1996. UNIQUE!

P.P.S. : The evening was in honor of Mr. Lupetti Italian master connoisseur on Champagne that presented his new Guide 2011.

I am so looking forward to smoking this pantele sized La Escepcion. However, I originally expected a larger gauge for this RE.
