Diamondog Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 RA Extra, what a stunnning cigar, already smoking aged beyond its 2 years for me...also have a recent production cab not sure box code off hand of Siglo VI and they are smoking phenominal right now, simply amazing...as a matter of fact I've got another 60 tubos coming so I think I'll burn another for the 3rd night in a row lol....
amosnaim Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Behike 54 from July 11. Amazingly smooth and tasty.
bstarrs Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Out of the 7 or 8 sticks I've smoked so far this year, I would have to go with a POL10 Bolivar Royal Corona as the best. Every cigar from the box has been consistently rich with leather, sweet spices, and some woodiness. It's been a great box of cigars.
kmagurk Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Fuente 858. Twice. Not even close really. I haven't had any Fuentes in years , maybe its time pick up a few
DinoCop05 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Well, havent had the opportuntiy to smoke many, but to date it is a 2010 Monte 2. Bursting with flavors!
maverickdrinker Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 cohiba reserva robusto. Brilliant cigar
aavkk Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I havent smoked many cigars this year thus far but for me its been close between a 11' Boli PC and this 98' Du Prince I am smoking right now. Haven't tried the RA Extras yet or anything else exotic for that matter.
tugboat Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 So far it's a Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 LSO MAR 08 Great cigar for just under medium with milk chocolate and spice. A close 2nd was the Trinidad Robustos T I smoked with a friend.
Charltonc Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Diplomatico #2 EMA Oct 08. Very tasty, and a close second a SLR Serie A from 2011.
Cig Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 COHIBA 1966. Simply amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lotusguy Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Just had a series of new #1s at the pre-herf in MTL tonight. Don't even know where to start. Best was probably the 1998 Monte #3
maverickdrinker Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Just had a series of new #1s at the pre-herf in MTL tonight. Don't even know where to start. Best was probably the 1998 Monte #3 X2
Sutton Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Diplomatico #2 EMA Oct 08. Very tasty, and a close second a SLR Serie A from 2011. I have a box of the SLR A's from 2011 and have had about 6 of them and every one of them has been spot on.
Torpo Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 This year I've been happy. A very nice 08 MC#2, a full bodied and flavorful 09 Party 898 and a great 09 Boli BF. A box of '10 Trini Reyes is smoking pretty well, too.
dangolf18 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Well I take back the RA 2011 EL as my best smoke so far of 2012...I had a H.Upmann Magnum 48 EL from 2009 that blew my mind. Absolutely the richest tobacco I've ever tasted. Only wish they were longer.
Ryan Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 It's a Ramon Allones Corona that I'm smoking right now. Just right, what cigars should be about. No harshness whatsoever, evolvong sweetness throughtout, maybe butterscotch on this final third.
spirit Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Mag48 - these just get better and better each time I reach for one. Dark bitter chocolate with a spicy finish. Had 3 of these already this year and they've all been fab!
Savoy Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 1966 is very ******* good ...kills the new RA...
TexAg Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro for me. I will definitely be adding a box to my humidor.
IcedCanuck Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Last night I smoked a 'Ramone Allones - Allones Extra' and a 'Cohiba - BHK 54'. I really really really liked both of them and it's a real toss up as to which I prefer. For this year, so far, it's a toss up between the two for me.
LeafLover Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 A couple of NC's actually: Illusione Holy Lance La Casita Criolla
NicPac Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 '10 BHK 54 I'm smoking right now. Great cigar!
edlye Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Scratch the Mag 46, I've been blessed with divine sticks of RG CE from ABR 2009. Smoothness all the way, great floral flavours and aroma and a clean aftertaste. They were so good that I sprang for more boxes. H Upmann Magnum 46 from FEB 2010, 5 sticks so far and all had been fantastic. Mild pepper and creamy smoothness, rich tobacco flavour with notes of vanilla on the aftertaste.
