What has been your best cigar so far in 2012?

This time of year normally allows some time for a few cigars (not withstanding the cold some of you are experiencing )

For me:

Upmann Magnum 50 from 2010. Stonefruit and cream, toasted tobacco in Spades.

H Upmann Magnum 46 from FEB 2010, 5 sticks so far and all had been fantastic. Mild pepper and creamy smoothness, rich tobacco flavour with notes of vanilla on the aftertaste.

Toss up between the SLR Pacifico, or the 99 SLR Lonsdale. The last third of the Pacifico still needs some time, but the flavors are amazing. The lonsdale has the shortbread, earth, apricot, leather, ginger, and toastiness with herbs in spades. For those not smoking SLR, this should be the year to start.

Had a 2010 Cohiba Siglo VI. Was all cream and smooth nutmeg until it evolved into a beautiful dark espresso the last third. Definitely was the cigar you wish you were smoking in your Siglo VI review, Rob.

Tie between an HQ Partagas Short from 09 and a Cohiba Genios from '10. Behike 52, Psp2 or Trini Rob T would have won, but they were New Years Eve.

My favorite cigar this year has to be the RA Allones Extra 2011 EL...when you get a good one, it is the best smoke. However, I've had a quite bitter and acrid one

So far this year I've had two and a half cigars. The half was my best of the year so far. 2001 cohiba pyramid le. I say half because the first third was dec 31st but the last two were jan 1st. Hahahahaa superb cigar.
