Please do so. You are setting the prime example of work hard, play hard, and enjoy life. Yes I'm jealous OK - you want it, you have it so day before yesterday we had our regular cigar meeting in the old lab again like every 13 days and I took some pics of our liquor cabinets ( and the food and the cigars as well ) for you. Not so. Around 30 friends wanted to celebrate, eat, drink and smoke like the pharmacy had been out of night duty for years .... We had lots of good food with Josef cooking a large pot of Chile con Carne for us, big Hans bringing tasty Tuscanny stripes of fat along a pot of German Griebenschmalz plus Michael “Turner” giving us his freshly smoked Pastrami to taste along with a bottle of Wildsautropfen ( wild boar drops ) and then finally Don Vito from the Pizzeria across the square throwing in a especially made giant pizza for all of us that was heavenly crispy ! All of this topped by Tabasco chocolate ... too freaking funny. What a night ! Not to mention all the fine cigars that went up in smoke, like VR ER Spain Maestros or some of my last Siglo series sticks that I brought back from Havana. To satisfy a request by some “Friends of Habanos” blokes from down-under, I took some pics of our liquor lockers. Guess we will be still happily drinking on when the land of Oz has become a desert .. .. just kidding guys. So, just a regular night at the pharmacy, as always. Nino

Puff in Germans means "Brothel",other then that it's very close.Some quotes can't be translated as the would not make sense. What I quoted is an old german saying which reims.

Cheers True dat - which is why we celebrate Karneval, Fassenacht, Herrensitzung und Weiberfastnacht and whatever comes our way especially here in Rheinhessen. Das Motto ist wahrlich göttlich - ich kannte es nicht aber werde es mir merken und beim nächsten ANS anbringen. Spaß muss sein, sprach Wallenstein ....

As in, a place where you're supposed to get drugs and other medical items to make you feel better? Looks like you guys have enough there to put several football teams into hospital due to overimbibing!!!! LOL.

Thank you for your comment, again, to clarify things - this is a working village pharmacy where we meet when the pharmacist has night duty which is every 13 days. We meet in an old un-used lab inside the pharmacy ( in the garden courtyard in the summer ) and just have a good time helping the pharmacist to pass the time in-between night calls. It's unusual, I agree, but a wonderful tradition now for almost 10 years and has even received not just press but also TV coverage - see a clip from the German TV that came to film us after the non-smoking ban was announced in some german states : http://www.flyingcigar.de/smoking_cigars/2008_06_swr_3_tv_clip_apotheken-notdienst_smoke.php Even they found it funny and a good way to pass the time no problems with customers either, everything is relaxed, no talibans around which is good, the village knows about our gatherings - I cannot imagine this public exposure anywhere else. We are certainly blessed and we enjoy it. Nino
