mazolaman Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 So, after rising late with a head full of jazz and grog, I got on with the dinner. A fine wing rib of Cumbrian Galloway beef, hung for 4 weeks, marbled with fat....served with the usual roast tatties, honey parsnips, carrots, Yorkshire puddings and gravy...eat till you hemorrhage... Followed by a Juan Lopez No 1 from 2006 This had been resting for 4 years. The last one, so I thought for a special occasion, it'd be perfect. It started out quite meaty, with a middle mouth flavour, quite full bodied for the first third, with a nice bit of creaminess. I thought I was on to a winner, and settled down to savour this cigar. In truth, all I could do was settle down, as moving had become difficult. The cigar flavour then disappeared. The last two thirds were tasteless, utterly tasteless...such a disappointment... The others had been a decent cigar, and I don't know if this was just a bad time to smoke it. this cigar gets a 75. So I had a Cazadores, which, with it's oily full falvoured nature re-affirmed the love...this cigar gets an 88. Happy new year all...
