thechenman Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Water. Smooth and not a hint of burn on the way down. Nose was clean, even refreshing. Drank it straight out of a pint glass. Slightly chilled due to the tap being left to run for a moment before filling the glass. I didn't dare fill the glass to the top for fear of getting overhydrated. Slight citrus taste on the palate and a nice crisp film coating my mouth. All in all, soothing, quenching and very nice. I highly recommend for anybody looking for a great evening sipping drink. Was it cloudy? I prefer my water that comes fresh from the tap to be a bit cloudy, almost milky, but still opaque...almost like there are millions of particles swirling around in the glass...
Orion21 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 2008 Red Diamond Cabernet from Washington State. Lots of fruit (candied cherry and blackberry), the slightest bit of prune and very smooth. Rob, you like smooth fruity forward wines with little to no tannin's? You will like the 2008 Red Diamond Cab. It's around 7-$10 is the states. Cheers!
