The 30 year old is not your typical Mortlach !

The 25 Adelphi bottling is absolutely stunning...

My summer planned trip to Cuba was scuppered so I did the next best thing... a whisky buying trip/tour of Scotland! Had a great week with a mix of rain and glorious sunshine. Some great pick ups too -

Many of you will know more about this Australian rum then I do. I just thought it was a neat bottle. Rhetoric bourbon is a new limited release from Diageo's Orphan Bottle Company.

Yeah I know they're worlds apart. I've tried to get into the more peaty labels but they just don't do it for me. Lightly peated I can enjoy but that's about it.

Where did you find this one? I would love to find a bottle, judging by my experience with the 12.

At a specialty Whisky store in Auckland, New Zealand...only one in stock :)
