celtmick1984 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 The Macallan Cask Strength Courvoisier 12 year Balvenie Single Barrel Booker's True Barrel Four Roses Single Barrel (a liquor Christmas for me as well)
orangedog Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 The Macallan Cask StrengthCourvoisier 12 year Balvenie Single Barrel Booker's True Barrel Four Roses Single Barrel (a liquor Christmas for me as well) Macallan CS is great - so underrated when compared to the rest of their range. Nice pick up!
maverickdrinker Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Nice pickups everyone!!! Big fan of the CS and Whiskey maker's editions of Macallan Matt, How is the Balvenie Tun 1401 and the Ardbeg Galileo?
Reevzy Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I'll chime in here. Here's my latest drops. Hoegaarden Grand Cru. An absolutely divine Belgian ale that's chock full of sediment it looks like someones been ashing in your drink but that last swig out of the glass with all of that sediment is just gorgeous, makes you go a little weak in the knees. And this is a very expensive bottle of Martell XO Cognac which I got for Christmas eve with the purpose of buying some cigars with it, so I got some Monte 4's and had a great time with the lads and that was my recent re introduction to cigars. But wawaweewa what a drop, nipping away at it out of my crystal snifters while smoking cigars, very debonaire we thought.

maverickdrinker Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 some 20 year Kirkland speyside single malt scotch today....
Lotusguy Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 some 20 year Kirkland speyside single malt scotch today.... Let me know how you like it - I picked one up in the hopes it would be as good as the 15Y Kirkland from Macallan distillery and it was not nearly as good as that More of a mixer for me.
maverickdrinker Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 father in law called me from AZ and got some for himself. Says he really enjoyed it. Like a good son in law, I asked him to buy 2 bottles. Little does he know that I bought it so he has something he likes to drink when he visits. Wont be trying it until March but will let you know Has anyone tried the new 15 year Kirkland scotch by Macallan?
maverickdrinker Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 they just released the Kirkland 15 made by Macallan over the holidays.
maverickdrinker Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 yes, Costco subcontracts some of the major liquor brands to make thier hooch. Kirkland vodka is grey goose and the Kirkland small batch bourbon is made by jim bean
