The name of the whisky is phonetically similar to the no-so-polite Italian or Spanish word for buttocks. And whisky is often aged in sherry casks called “butts”. Just me being infantile.

I've been very fortunate to come across these and get some good deals on them! I'm still not done, all these BTACs are from 2018, 2019. And these didn't even make it to my collection lol

Nice! Cracked it yet? This is about the only Jap whisky that I think is worth the prices it's going for these days. (personal opinion)

Did give it a try. When first poured it seemed quite rough but with a bit of time in the glass improved. Still wouldn’t put it in my favorites list but I’ll wait a while and try again. Sometimes I fine once the bottle is cracked it does improve it after a little while.
