BrightonCorgi
Biggest local liquor is closing to focus on their importing and distribution arms. Went crazy picking up their hard to find stuff like Paolo Bea. Bea is a cult Italian wine that is hard to find and usually sells out quick. Pick up over a dozen of them, but here are the three different ones I bought

Only the second one I saw so far. First one was a cask strength 5 year old that was finished in some wine cask and was very pink. It hit HARD.

Popular Post JohnS
Four Pillars Solera No. 6 Barrel aged Gin. This release took a little longer to mature, 9 months. As per usual, I have no doubt this will soon unavailable/sold out due to demand. I picked up the second bottle on behalf of my friend, Jason. As Stuart Gregor at Four Pillars Gin stated when first released, "Is it a Barrel Aged Gin or is an Old Tom? Well...it's a bit of both!" The serving suggestion is to enjoy it neat, or in an Old Fashioned cocktail. It's also recommended for a Martinez, Tom Collins or Negroni cocktails too. The Solera No.6 release had the following notes: 'For our sixth solera release we gave the barrels a little bit longer to mature than usual, about nine months this time. And the development of the barrels continues to amaze, with each barrel showing significant differences. Some have developed an intense preserved ginger character with pale straw colour, others are spicy and rich with much bigger oak and colour. We still want to taste the gin though. Solera No_6 has obvious developed juniper characters before the subtleties unravel into ginger, crushed coriander, citrus oil, with light vanillin and cinnamon from the French oak. On the palate there is a ‘line of spice’ with big cassia, chewy anise and luscious juniper. The colour is a bright mid-gold. Best sipped neat, over ice, or in a classic Old Fashioned'.

My next acquisition I'm working on, Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon, is currently not available in most major liquor retailers where I live, for example. However, I'll find a way tjo acquire it!p Happy to ship some to you if you think it'd make it through the Aussie Post Mafia. I live 30 minutes from the distillery and have quite the collection of their wares. What you really want is their Single Barrel Barrel Strength variants (Particularly OBSK or OBSV). It'll have you thinking, Pappy Who?

Good advice Ken, but seeing @JohnS's acquisitions lately I'm certain a little duty tax wouldn't hit the budget too hard ;-) Cheers Gents!
