If I could get a 50 cab of Partagas Lonsdales, '01 or '02, for a reasonable price I'd buy them in a heart beat.

Partagas Lonsdale Cabinet.

The why is in the What. ............ PERIOD :tantrum:

Agreed, but PAS NOV 02. I've had some from 2000 & 2001 that didn't have nearly the depth of flavor.

98 Trinidad Fundadores, don't remember box code. They were heavenly good, cream and chocolate on a stick. Funny enough I never thoroughly enjoyed a Trinidad after these.

I'd have to say a box of my ERDM Tainos from 97.....I just love their aroma, flavor and layers of subtle complexity. A very refined and smooth smoke.

I am gonna' have to agree with Ross once more. My cigar collection is more defined that eclectic these days. I would rather own 10 boxes of one cigar than own 1 box each of several different cigars.

With that said and to the spirit of the post, my favorite cigar is the Partagas Seleccion Privada. This was a limited production lonsdale that far excelled (MHO) the standard Party Lonsdale. I have singles left from quite a few boxes 90's through '00.

Rob, I think I bought one of the last boxes you had!

I don't go as far back as most so my answer will be more current.

Rob had a Live in the Humidor where everything was going PE prices. I asked him for a 10 count Party Lusi that blew him away. These are 2008 TEB. He could have pushed them back for another sale but didn't. That speaks volumes to me. These are the best cigars I have. I have been trying to get a particular promotion for awhile...Finally got it so I smoked 1. I plan on smoking 1 on that promotion date until the box is gone. Would do anything to get my hands on a 10 count box of the same quality. This box is the epitome of why choosing a graded box makes sense....

2001 VR Classicos. Some plugged, the rest have a tight draw, but the rich, deep, chocolate flavor is outstanding.

Even though my head has contracted from pulling on these, I would take 4 more boxes, Rob.

The one box in your collection you would buy another of in a heartbeat...if you could find it :D

Cigar, box code if you have and reasons why!

Partagas Serie P No. 2 POS Feb06....simply amazing, not much more to say...

For me it definitely is a box of Cohiba Coronas Especiales from NOV 05. I smoked through most of the box in the first year or two I had it and didn't revisit them until recently when I gave one out in a "Make a wish" game on another board. Since I had not had one in long time I decided to give one of the few left a try. It was easily in the top ten of cigars I have smoked :perfect10: . Vanilla, coffee bean, coco and cream, this cigar was refined and ALL CLASS. I kicked myself in the ass for blowing through the majority of the box and not giving the cigars the time they needed to become truly wonderful. I would ****** up another in a second if I had the chance.

H.Upmann Mag 46 USE JUL 08 - It was the first box of H.Up I bought and I was just wowed by it. I thought it was the best cigar I ever smoked, lots of milk chocolate and just so smooth.

Smoked one of three I have the other night and was impressed as well. Although I thought it needed a little bit more time to rest. I think in another 2-3 years this will be a very good cigar.

A 2003 cab of Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No. 1. These just keep getting better. Strong, with a backbone of musty aged cedar, complex black pepper on the tongue and lips, hot cinnamon spice in the mouth, floral white pepper through the nose, some subtle tangy fruit nuances, and a long, sweet woody and mellowed black and red pepper finish. Truly off the scale, one of my favorite cigar experiences. Only one full box and a few singles left to go.

TEB 07 RASS. The sweetness to this cigar is intoxicating. The more recent productions appear to have darker wrappers (09-10-11), so I am extremely excited to see if 3-4 years of aging produces the same sweetness.

NPV 03 Bolivar Corona Extra. Got 1/2 a cab from a fellow collector. Its like smoking honey, with oak and and a light spice on the retro. Really fantastic.

I'm a sucker for sweeter cigars.
