Ah, the old tried and true - a manly man doing manly things in manly ways.
I'm with you on this Colt...

Yeah - I'm concerned we might have to rename Rob's upcoming trip from:

"The Rob Ayala Worldwide Mayhem Tour"

to:

"Nancy's Lets Get in Touch With Our Feelings Journey of Self Discovery"

:forkyou:

The crap hits the fan for me almost on a daily basis. Kinda of hard not to get hit with it in my line of work. I usually go to the gym and beat the crap out of someone else, after. Then I'll come home and relax with a good smoke. It usually does the trick.

Have a buddy who shuts the door to his office and kicks the living crap out of his garbage can - classic.

I go home and cook a mountain of pasta, pull out the cheapest bottle of red together with the ugliest tumbler I can find, and I plop myself in front of the TV to brood for the night. The following evening when I have regained a sense of perspective I treat myself to a cigar, a glass of good red served in fine stemware, and maybe skip the carbs.

Beer. Good Beer. And a cigar if possible. Then think about how lucky I am (on different levels) to actually be able to smoke and drink. Everything bad gets better when you look at how bad it COULD be, e.g. no smoking or drinking. Cheers! :rotfl:

Jump in my truck, turn the music up, and drive until I'm back to "normal". During that drive the words of some of my retired former colleagues go throught my head, "It's only a movie" or "In 100 years, no one will care".

When the crap hits the fan...what do you do? :rotfl:

Do you put on the "Sounds of the Rainforest" CD, crawl in a foetal position in a dark corner for a few hours...or days, go to town on the bottle, reach for that motivational book, put your fist through the nearest door, say a prayer and hope for the best, go hit a couple of hundred balls at the range, go to the gym and walk right past the water cooler, go fishing, call a good mate, talk to your wife, kick the dog, ignore it completely,

We have all been there. How do you handle it :)

seriously? shall we all hold hands around the campfire and sing doris day songs?

i go away from the forum for a brief time and come back to this bleeding heart, people's flag-waving, tutu-wearing crap.

you could always just try growing a pair.
