Hohenthal Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Corona Gorda (Is that really a surprise ?) Dalia, Lonsdale ( for the comfort) Would be my ideal, for time reasons I voted Half-Corona and CG
sighuber Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Corona Gorda and Belicoso. Dalia is a very close 3rd.
CM125 Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Corona gorda and petit corona Curtis Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Ophidion Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I did robusto and lonsdale even though I smoke PCs more than lonsdales... the lons is my favorite vitola of all time.
Daidemo Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 It really depends on many factors what I am smoking at given time (food, mood, time of the day…). But without thinking I can always reach for ANY Lonsdale in my humidor (Rafael Gonzalez, Saint Louis Rey, Por Larranaga (ER)… - all hard to get nowadays). Piramide and Corona Corda are my regular smokes on most evenings.
Charltonc Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I'm with you there dB69. Whilst I can usually find some of the more slender gauges, I'm becoming increasingly concerned that an inordinate percentage of new releases (Cuban or otherwise) seem to be in the 50+ RG bracket, whilst all of the deletions are from the sub-50 RG brakcet. I'm just starting up a new import business in the UK, and have had to tell several cigar companies that I'm not interested because they have no sensibly proportioned cigars - let's face it, how often to we have time to sit down and properly enjoy a cigar that's 7"x56... I agree with you. I love long and skinnies, but I cannot afford to deal with the draw issues.
Charltonc Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I love robustos when I have the time and like petit coronas when Im a little short on it. Traditional robusto is a nice size any bigger than 50 ring gauge is much too big.
PigFish Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 While always the advocate of the cigar under 42 ring, there is a magic to the 42 ring size. I do really believe that all the flavor of the most complex spectrum can be found in 42 ring cigars. They are classic, elegant, balanced and proportional. If there is a predominant design for a perfect airfoil... if cigars were wings, they would be 42 ring. The coronas is likely the perfect cigar. With the PC (marevas) and the cervantes/dalia as older and younger siblings this optimum ring size can be adjusted to fit any smoking occasion. I chose Coronas and Lonsdales. -Piggy
mbmacri Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Though not listed, Toro is my favorite and then Double Robusto.
ramon_cojones Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 anything 38 rg ie lanceros and coronas especiales robustos
phoenix Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Corona Gorda and Lonsdales (substitute any long skinny here)
mk05 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I voted for: Lonsdale Petite Piramides PC Corona (in that order) Why? Because it let me. Lonsdale all the way. In your heart, you know the dalia is the size in which all cigars are judged.
