El Presidente Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Which two vitola's do you like to smoke the most? Just two choices mind you. All being equal and assuming an equal spread of sizes amongst the Marques (utopia ) then choose the two Vitola's you would reach for most often?
riazp Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 I voted for PC and Corona Gorda without really thinking, PC peferct for the quick smoke, and corona gorda, well its just the perfect size in RG and Length
Colt45 Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Tough with just two. I went with churchill and corona gorda, but could easily substitute dalia/lonsdale for either.
laficion Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Corona Gorda (Is that really a surprise ?) Dalia, Lonsdale ( for the comfort)
nick17 Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 i smoke robustos mostly and love them and after that its coronas, Churchill, double coronas
shrink Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Corona Gorda (Is that really a surprise ?)Dalia, Lonsdale ( for the comfort) Same two for me.
cigarmonologues Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 For me the petit corona would have to be one of the choices - a great vitola: big enough to get all the flavours and experience some development, whilst small enough to knock-off in under an hour. It's always the vitola that I miss most if, God forbid, I run out... (Plus, they take up slightly less of my valuable humi space than many others). As for my second vitola, I'm torn between the robusto and belicoso. The robusto seems like another excellent go-to size... However, it would have to be the belicoso for me, there is just something about the tapering head of the cigar which just seems somehow 'right'.
CaptainQuintero Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Petit corona and I went with corona for my second it but could be interchangable with lonsdale, dalia etc
Nocoins Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 By keeping long and short skinnies together, you've made it rather easy for me. If I had to pick only 2, it would be skinnies and corona gordas. Dalias/lonsdales would be third.
Loki Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 I had to go with corona gorda, belicoso/piramide. Both have great mouth feel, the prior being less of a time investment and the latter a great sit down relax with friends type of size.
headstand Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Assuming no time restriction: dalia/lonsdale for their elegance piramide/belicosos for the smoke generating potential of bigger ring gages but with a more comfortable mouth feel
Maron76 Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 I went with corona and long skinny. But I would be happy to interchange those with PC and Lonsdales. They all sound delicious!
seamus Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Dalia Double corona Those two could cover me for any situation.
BobKincaid Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Skinnies and Dalia/Lonsdales. For purely aesthetic reasons, I seem to enjoy them more. Prominentes come in third. My favorite for work time, a long drive or eighteen holes of golf, but not at other times, generally.
Rogers72 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 I went with Petit Corona and Churchill. They are the two sizes that I smoke the most. The PC when I just want a pretty quick smoke and the Churchill when I want to sit a while. Both back to back happens pretty often though!
MrGlass Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Petit Corona and Double Corona for me. The Petit makes for a nice sized smoke at home without needing too much time, while the Double is fantastic for when I''m out for a cigar night with others.
CohibaBehike Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Corona and Dalia! robusto would be third, and petit corona would be 4. Really the only sizes I smoke
Dbone Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Corona Gorda (Is that really a surprise ?)Dalia, Lonsdale ( for the comfort) Great combo
mdzotti78 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 My vote was for the Robusto and the Corona Gorda. Gives me time to smoke smoke something else.
