Ken Gargett Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 if this doesn’t make you want to toss a fly some time soon, don’t know what will. apparently about 8 1/2 lbs. this is on the deepdale which is a really tough but fabulous river. a legendary big fish river. sent to me by a mate but apparently taken by the son of one of the guides i use. to give you an idea how clear the water is, the rocks are about ten foot deep.
riazp Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 gorgeous fish, Glad to see your surviving Ken! hang in there

headstand Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 catch and release only. But the butter is nicely browned!?
CM125 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 That is nice makes me want to learn how to fly fish. The only time I have seen water that clear was in the Swiss alps when the snow was melting. Curtis

laficion Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Great picture and the spot sounds great. I'll go for it and I don't even fish.
