Hello everybody.

I just entered the wonderful world of cigars and got seriously hooked...

In fact I have had a quite negative view on cigars for many years: bad smell, old fashioned style, something exclusive for rich old gentlemen. And never really thought about give it a try.... Just until a friend offered me a puff on a Cohiba Siglo V to pep up the whisky. I was immediately positive surprised with the good taste and how it brought me in a good relaxing mood :perfect10:

This was actually how this started out for me - by coincidence.

At later occasions me and a friend began to buy cigars more often, when something had to be celebrated, new year eve etc. This turned out to be very pleasant habit and today I smoke cigars one or two times every week. Smoking is a very social thing and I prefer to share the moment with good friends!

I bought a Oasis XL humidfier to keep my cigars fresh. I usually buy full boxes instead of single sticks and store them in a glass/wooden cabinet. I think it works fine as a humidor.

My ranked favorites - of the ones I have smoked so far is:

Behike 56

Cohiba Esplendido

Behike 54

Soglo VI

Siglo V

Hoyo de Monterrey - Double Corona

Hoyo de Monterrey - Churchils

Partagas EL 2004

Punch Northern Light 2009

Siglo IV

Each of the cigars mentioned above have I smoked several times, so Im familiar with their taste and regard them as "safe choices". I usually smoke 2 or 3 cigars in an evening depending on vitola. Favorite drink together with the cigar is something sweet like madeira liquor, sweet rum (Ron Millonario), White Russian or demi sec champagne. Some fresh and fruity Weiss Bier will also go along.

So many good experiences lies ahead. Plans for this summer is a trip to Casa del Habanos in Berlin and Hamburg, Germany. I hope to find something interesting to bring back in the humi :)
