BobKincaid Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Has anyone found a way of removing those obnoxious pieces of propaganda without damaging the rest of the box?
First Lady Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Hairdryer honey , heat one end and slowly peel them off, a bit of orange oil will take away the stickness
CaptainQuintero Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Has anyone found a way of removing those obnoxious pieces of propaganda without damaging the rest of the box? Go slow. Just make a tiny start on a corner and then very slowly (around a mm per second) work the sticker off along from the corner until you have gotten across to the opposite corner. Now that you're all evened out just start pulling at the whole thing but again, very slowly. The second you get over-confident and go faster you rip it and get the white backing left behind It takes a good five minutes per sticker though, any faster and you're a better man than me! You sometimes get a bit of the glue left beihnd but it's invisible and dries out after a day or so.

BobKincaid Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 Excelsior! I got the cussed picture of the coal miner's mouth off my RASCC box! The seal took a bit of a beating, but I expect that's because they're designed to show abuse. Now, the actual RASCCals have a nice place to live in the humi when they get to their new home!
PigFish Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 I like them! They are a constant reminder of how dumb I am and how smart my government nanny is. I mean if they really wanted to make people sick and turn them off, they could simply list the salaries and budgets of all the nanny departments that produce this consumer protection garbage. Now if that does not keep you from picking up a box of cigars, nothing will.
