I'll be grilling for my wife, son and Grandmother before heading up to my parents home for a funeral this week. (Sad... I know...)

I'll be grilling steaks... and chicken. We'll also be enjoying corn on the cob. I'll be enjoying some Irish Whisky that I just brought back last week, as well as a CAO America Bottle Rocket. (I debated on either the CAO, a Cohiba Behike 52 or 54... which I found in Bremen Germany last week, a Monte 4 from the Czar or a Bolivar RE Especiales No. 2... tough choice... but since I am doing the grilling... I'm going with something that I'm more willing to smoke while concentrating on other things...) I'll also be enjoying a bottle of New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red cherry ale.

Here is my submission... taken today by my 3 year old son. (Seriously.)

Just for legality sake... he agreed to provide me with full copyright in exchange for 5 M&Ms.

My Independence Day was pretty laid back. I did my grilling on July 3rd for some friends after spending the early part of the day in Long Island. Rib Eyes, Short Ribs, Corn on the Cob, Potato Egg Salad and Biscuits were on the menu. Was able to find time to smoke a few cigars: ERDM Lunch Club, Party Short and Viaje TNT (2010).

On the 4th, I putted around and cleaned up from the party the night before. Took the kids out to ride their bikes and take in a movie (Cars 2). Then off with the family to a BBQ Buffet at the golf club. Rounded out the evening with a viewing of the fireworks on the Hudson River. Can't complain...it was real nice.
