gigabyte056 Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 It's been a long time since I tasted one of these, kind of drifted apart from them.. Decided to smoke one since I can't seem to find many reviews of these and they are quite popular.. Aroma at cold, tobacco and wet grass. appearance is rustic aka ugly http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h357/g...56/SAM_0995.jpg First puffs I get a salty twang and strong tobacco taste. First 1/3 Slight tastes of sweet, saltiness and faint wet grass. Most of the time all I taste is tobacco and nothing else. Second 1/3 Some subtle spiciness comes in, nothing offensive to say about this cigar. Straightforward tobacco and sea breeze. Final 1/3 Same as before, no evolution but it is an OK cigar. Wouldn't like to make these my daily smoke (prefer the shorts and as long as I can afford it will stick to those) rated at 84, these are actually better to me than the RyJ no.2
cigcars Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Thank you for the review SmokeInPeace! They're not bad little smokes at all. Have several sizes of this vitola, i.e. the Brevas, Cazadores, Nacionales. Find the Brevas most enjoyable. And it's nice to see an often disregarded or neglected, affordable Habana given the time of day as it is here!
