Well Ladies and Gents-it has been a scary couple of days. My wife started having complications with her pregnancy, but due to a crack medical staff, a healthy baby girl (Sofia) was born at 841 pm New York time on Saturday May 28th. She is a premie at 4 lbs 7 oz but she is healthy and doing great mama is also doing great. I am just now catching my breath!

Lisa, seems like I got those cigars in just in time. As soon as mama and baby come home, we will crack the box open!!!!!

Blessings on one and all!

Your happy news brought a smile to my face.

Enjoy that first paternal cigar and then get to work. You've got some busy decades ahead. After all, as I was told when my first daughter was born, "When you have a little boy, you have a little boy to worry about. When you have a little girl, you have ALL the little boys to worry about." :)

Congrats on the new addition to your family, Glad to heard mommy and baby are doing well, I always tell everyone fatherhood is the best job anyone can ask for.

Congrats on the new arrival. Gald everything worked out. I had twin girls born premature at 5lbs and 3lbs respectively. They grow up very quickly so cherish the moments and get sleep while you can.

Bravo to you and your wife. Sounds like a stressful few days but the end result looks beautiful. Congratulations!

Congratulations! There's nothing like it! Here's to hoping you get enough sleep to be able to stay awake through an entire cigar! I took me about a two weeks with both of mine before i was willing to sacrifice nap time to smoke one.

Congrats to you and your family! Glad to hear everything turned out well

Quite a coincidence, I am expecting my 1st child in 2 months and if it's a girl as they predict, her name will be Sophia
