Black light Hologram Image

Hey guys, I have a box from '08 that shows no holographic image of the shield on the middle of the warranty seal under the black light, and a box from '10 that shows a big holographic block in the middle of the seal with no clear image of the shield. Can anyone share any information on this with me?

Thanks Colt, lots of good info. It seems that once again, there is no fool proof way to make sure they're legit. Still doesn't explain how I have a block hologram though...weird.

*To share with you again my prior statement on this situation: I've patronized a vendor locally who's boxes had all proper documentation, holographic sticker, habanos chevron, etc. And when smoked, might has well have been a 3 dollar bill because that would have been more authentic than the joke I was smoking...the ink on the cigar band even came off on my fingers!!!

Thanks for your feedback, that explains everything. No matter what, you can never properly id authenticism by inspecting packaging or the cigars themselves. All you can do is judge by the taste and trust the vendor.
