I have wanted one of these for a long time. I found a great deal and pounced. Tonight I made meatloaf. It was great!

Mmmmm, bacon!

2lbs of ground beef

6 gloves of garlic, chopped

2 Vidalia Onions, chopped

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup of italian seasoned bread crumbs

Saute onions and garlic in oil until soft

Mix everything well in a bowl. Your hands will work best

Form into a loaf, coat with ketchup, cook and enjoy.

The Egg is a high tech ceramic grill. Heat retention, keeping moisture in, and temp control are amazing. With one load of charcoal you can smoke at 250 degrees for 12 hours without opening it, or having to add charcoal. It will also bake and grill. You can also get the temp up to over 700 degrees for cooking steaks without flare-ups.

Been thinking about getting a BGE for awhile , how do you find it compared to what you had previous? Are the meats and vegetables a lot more tender and juicy?

Looks great. I'll try this on my egg soon. Thanks for the recipe. Temp/Time?

I tried this tonight. The recipe was great and made for a wonderful meatloaf. I added a bit of woschister to the mix but everything else was as per the original post. Thanks for the recipe! Cooked it at 350 in the BGE for an hour and here's how it turned out:

Those look great! My father in law loves his BGE, but don't believe he's tried meatloaf yet. I'll have to give it a shot next time I'm over there. Great idea!
