So I've found that a nice drink that I enjoy with a cigar sometimes is an iced coffee. (It seems to go perfectly with a Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos). I recently spotted a break in the clouds here and didn't want to waste the precious time that the sun had decided to shine so grabbed a glass of plain old pasturised semi-skimmed milk.

Pretty fantastic!

I really didn't know what to expect but the milk tasted like it had been squeezed from the teat of an angel and the spice and sweet from the Secretos was just rolling along smooth as anything you could wish for.

So I wondered if anyone else had come across this strange combination and wether they had enjoyed/disliked it or has found some of their own odd drinks which they have found to suit a nice cigar?

Ok you can stop looking at me funny now :D

I've been trying new drinks lately besides coke or a good scotch / rum etc. A new one for me today is cranberry juice. I'm not sure if it's the tartness, but it's really suiting the Super Partagas I currently have in hand.

Two words.....Breast Milk

There are certain cigars which have a breast milk profile, aged La Gloria Cubana Tainos being one.

There is no reason that Milk would not go well with a cigar given it would complement many cramy cigars and provide a soothing point of difference against the spicier ones.

Im open to tryin new drinks with my smokes...

Here this, on a sunday and if the weather permits, i like to have a cigar in the back garden and read the paper. A drink that i enjoy with my cigars: BEROCCA!

The orange flavour compliments my cigar well, and the amount of vitamains in it with other anti oxidants beats the crap out of the effects of several pints i had the night before.

For anybody dosent know what berocca is:

Now that is a cigar fact that I'm going to write down for later use!

Looks like I will need to take a trip to the deli counter in Covent Garden:

It's nothing to "out there" but I have been drinking a lot of tea recently and pairing them with some cigars. Recently I had green tea with a VR Unicos, totally didn't match flavors, but it did a wonderful job of clearing the palette in between puffs. Made each puff after a sip taste brand new.
