My eldest stumped me with this question yesterday and I didn't have any ready answers.

I doubt I could work for anyone else....given I don't think I would hire myself anyway :)

All in all I doubt that I could do any other line of work which matches my own strengths and takes advantage of my weaknesses.

I have always hankered to own and run a fine Cigar & Wine Fly Fishing resort in a tropical climate. 8 weekly guests.

I suspect I would be dead or broke in a year....possibly both. I would however go out with a smile on my face. :2thumbs:

What a great question. :2thumbs:

With this in mind, if I could wind back the clock and start over with education and a steady head with direction etc, I'd love to be a Cryptozoologist or a Doctor of sorts.

If I were to just drop what I am doing right now and start over with something else, I'd easily say I'd love to be a Firefighter with the MFB (I am trying out this year BTW).

Or if I had the funds, I'd love to head off to Chile (La Serena) and open up my own Coffee/Cigar bar on the beach there for two reasons: 1/- There is not a decent coffee to be found ANYWHERE in Chile, everyone has 'Nescafe' instant and 2/ - There aren't enough places to buy a decent cigar other than LCDH in Santiago at the W Hotel.

Spent 30 years in journalism and letters when I'd rather have been a train driver.

I would have definitely enjoyed to be an airline pilot. See the world on someone else's dime and most stewardess don't look have bad either. Duty free smokes and liquor to sweeten the pot.

I've made my career in IT but I was born with artistic skills which I have put aside when I decided it couldn't pay the bills. :)

I would love to do something with the innate skill I have. That and maybe something to do with cigars.

Wife of a millionare :lol3: for some reason I just know I would have been fantastic at it

Professional Leech? :excl:

You have sold yourself short honey! You will be a multi millionaire one day in your own right!

I have often wondered what it would be like being married to you. I suspect it would be a "vibrant" relationship ending suddenly in my death within 6-12 months.

It would be fun for the brief time it lasted

 Lisa, you know you and Rob love each other!! At least it's not like when Sir Winston Churchill and Lady Astor (I believe that's who) who both couldn't stand each other but both put up a united front for the sake of rallying England on against Adolph and his funyons... *After they both stood together to inspire their British populace she said to him in private..."If I was married to you I'd pour arsenic in your tea!" Sir Winston replied, "Lady, if I was married to you I'd drink it!" :lol3:

This is such a good question. Can I be greedy and have two options? :lol3: If it was based on talents/skills that I've developed (such as they are) post school then I'd want to be a sound engineer or record producer, anything really in or around a studio. But if I could actually get in a DeLorean,go back and have my chance again I'd focus hard on what I was good at and want to write professionally in some capacity.Oh and I always fancied the idea of being a lawyer too! *ducks to avoid the the things being thrown* :excl::no:

I am actually in the process of a career swap as we speak. I am in aircraft maintenance and starting a Bachelor of Science, looking at either Env Sci or Marine Biologist.

Best thing is my current employer is paying for it all. All I have to do is pass. Or I pay it back. :lol3:

I want to be a novelist. I have started two novels but have been stuck with one for 8 years and the other for 5 years!!! I would love to hit one or two big though and be able to travel and write for the rest of my life.

*My dream job would probably not be workable for me: Movie maker/Tobacconist profession. Both of these I'm so passionate about and my attitude toward work is so anti-fun...! I probably would enjoy neither if it was my JOB!;)
