Montaigut Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 A Genie has granted (cursed?) you one wish, and one wish only. He is the evil Genie of the HSA! And the wish you have to make is to pick ONE cigar amongst all those you have tried. From that day forward, any cigar you smoke will magically turn into the one you have chosen. Which cigar would you pick? Why? My own choice: Vitola: Corona Gordas Brand: Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 1 Reasons: favourite size, consistent Juan Lopez high quality, complex taste, luxurious smoke, fewest plugs per cab in my experience, never boring
BradNC Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Based upon my limited experience thus far..... Diplomaticos #2 Reasons: Consistent, unique flavors that make it stand out from the rest. I'm going to have to try a Juan Lopex No. 1 now due to your reasons.
laficion Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Dan, I'm with you on the JL Seleccion No.1 , It's one of my go to everyday cigar with the HdM Epicure No.1 However, if the Genie insists on only one, well, It will have to be a MONSDALE custom rolled from Enrique Mons. WHY ? The cigar is pure cream with fantastic notes of coffee, chocolate with hints of leather & spices, the cigar is full flavored but with such complexity, It's smooth and so balenced that I can and would love to smoke that cigar for the rest of my life.
BobLobLaw Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Partagas Lonsdale. Maybe its the hype, but I have loved every single one I have smoked.
Colt45 Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion No.4 PUL EOOO (September 1999) - from Professor Twain's cabinet. One of, if not the, finest cigars I've ever smoked.
BolivarSmoker Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 If it could be anything, not just regular production, then H Upmann Tang Monarch. I have a box that I have dipped into a few times and they are gold.
Habanos2000 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 08 Mag 46 I have a couple PSP boxes I'm working through. They taste like they have at least 5 years of age on them already. Smooth, tons of thick smoke and evolution of taste from beginning to end. Cream, wood, leather, pepper... what else could you ask for? DAMN, that's one fine cigar!
CanuckSARTech Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 As of things right now, with fingers crossed for more beneficial development in the future, I might have to go with Trinidad Robustos T's. Reasons? Amazing out of the box, flavour profile holds hope for a long and rewarding future, good amounts of smooth smoke, excellent cornucopia of evolving flavours and sensations, and all this wrapped up in a medium-body that's good to go for anytime of the day, no matter the food or drink it's being paired with.
CohibaBehike Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Trinidad Robusto T as well, really good cigar!
kittipong Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Por Larranaga - Magnificos UK RE, medium flavored, complex, creamie and wonderfully looking.
Kangaroo495 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 For me it would be the ERDM Grandes Espagna. Perfect size, easy to smoke. Incredible flavour. Discontinued.
Don Candido Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Between a Behike and any Cohiba Torpedo release I have tried, but 2000 Jar's are in mind at the moment.
El Presidente Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Vitola: Dalia Brand: Partagas 898V Reasons: Nothing expresses decadence more than a great 898 V
Cohiba007 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Between a Behike and any Cohiba Torpedo release I have tried, but 2000 Jar's are in mind at the moment. I think I am with you. Behind 52 was one of the most unique cigars tatbi have smoked. But imhave only had one. The 2000 cohiba jars were heavenly.
Don Candido Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Between a Behike and any Cohiba Torpedo release I have tried, but 2000 Jar's are in mind at the moment. Or now that I think about it, perhaps a Dunhill cuban. I love the Cabinetta and the Estupendo, closely followed by the Dunhill Havana Club. Why? Blend, blend and blend. That was the real deal.
riderpride Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I would have to go with the Boli Corona Extra, with the Mag 46 a close second.
thechenman Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Normally, I'd say the Partagas 898V, but after my recent experience smokeing a Partagas PSD1, I'd have to go with the latter.
Turrbo Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Behike 56 While I'm at it can I make all fluids taste like Johnnie Walker Blue Label?
