Here is my rare 2011 EL, complete with cellophane. I had a friend come back from Mexico and gave it to me. He seemed pretty excited about it so of course I didn't give him the bad news. It was the thought that counts.

I agree with its the thought that counts. I have had many friend bring back cigars from Mexico and other vacation spots that are obvious fakes. I just took them and thanked them like they gave me a HTF cigar.

I have a friend that keeps bringing me fakes. He's done so for a long time. Recently he came to my house and we smoked some real Cohibas, and he was taken back. He asked me why the ones that we were smoking were so much better. I told him the truth about the ones that he was bringing in and we laughed about it. He now knows the difference.
