I hate acronyms. However everyone here uses some like they're going out of style. OMG! so I thought we would compile a list of them so that we can all get on the same page, or at least so people like me can get on the same page with you.

Remember this is for cigar acronyms only.

I used to write out complete names just for this reason - so everyone would understand. But after a while, it becomes a bit of a chore to constantly

type out Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No.3, and easier to say P SdC3. Lazy perhaps, but easier for train of thought - at least for me.

I did an awful lot of reading and research on Cuban cigars long before I ever interacted with anybody on the subject. RASS this, RASS that - what's a

RASS? I found a site with a list of cigar brands, names, etc, and was finally able to figure it out - RA Ramon Allones, SS Specially Selected - bingo!

That led me not only to figure out things like BBF, etc, but got me to read and find out more about the cigars in general, which in a way, I found satisfying.

If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them. But don't be afraid to venture out and do some reading / rersearch - it might add a bit more

to your enjoyment.

If you haven't already, check out Trevor's site - http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/

*I luv my Cuban cigars so much I don't mind spelling the entire name of it out everytime. When the forum subject was on some discontinued Sdch or something to that effect, I was too ashamed to chime in to ask what the hell was THAT?? I could only figure San Cristobal, but that one is not discontinued.

I like OTT - off the truck. When you smoke a new arrival without letting it have the 30 day waiting period in the humidor first.

Another one my dad taught me that isn't cigar related was LMTP - low man on the totempole. Which is a position no one wants.
