BENN Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Couple of months ago Swedens biggest and imho best cigar forum decided to commit suicide, and they also had the biggest herf in Scandinavia every year and they pulled the plugg on that one also. So there we are 3 botl sitting in a garage smoking som nice cigars and said, wth.....well throw the biggest and best herf ever, so the hunt for a place that 60 people could smoke in. As you might know here it is not legal to smoke in resturants and pubs making this hard. We wanted to do this our way so we pretty much changed the setup but the one thing we did was the benefit auction. We contacted some vendors and asked for donations and Ron was kind enough to donate a box of premium cc. We knew wo would be crazy busy on the day of the herf (3 people serving 60) so we decided we would invite some of the botls and sotls closest to us the day before and had a Behike herf. So last week friday our dear friend came from all over Sweden and Kjell that is a dear member of FOH also was there. WE started with drinks in the hotel, then hit the best restaurant in Gävle and had some good food, champagne and wine.....and then my friend Isse opened his resturant after closing so we would have somewhere to smoke, we all enjoyed some Behike and one of our friends had the original Behike from the 40 Aniversario Humidor humidor. What a night. Saturday was the day for the big herf......we was crazy busy and just made it on time, the benefit auction raised just over 2600 usd to doctors without borders, my dear frined Magnus who also was one of the organizer did his est to bellydance/strip to raise cigars for the auction.
