We will be on and off the forum for a dew days. Rising waters will cause bedlam for roads.

I can't get home to my place but we will know if it floods this afternoon. My family are safe as they can get to a neighbour on higher ground but it would be nice to be there with them.

The tragedy is I may be staying at Kens for a few days as he is the closest mate to my place

Pictures of my front yard from my daughter a few minutes ago. Waters rising about a foot an hour.

Didn't you have a chance to get home yesterday to the family? Doesn't your brother work for QLD Water and told you about the floods?

Hope Ang and the kids are fine and best of luck to Ken as well.

I will keep the office manned, cheap cigars all round this afternoon.

Rob, why not give everyone a couple of days off. No point working in these conditions. It just looks so dangerous.

Best to be with family and friends during these trying times.

That's heartbreaking to see Prez, the most important thing is that you and your loved ones stay safe. Best of luck to you guys, hopefully that's as high as the water gets.

Wow, staying at Ken's b/c of the flooding....

That really is terrible............the flood is pretty bad too. ;)

Just kidding. Hope all is well, and everyone stays safe.....

My best to you guys. After dealing with Hurricane Katrina flooding, the best policy is safety for the family. Everything else can be replaced.

Good Luck.

It is quite a strange sight in Brisbane right now. Blue skies and the CBD closed and every business oon ground level sandbagged for the influx of water from the 3pm high tide. Family are safe. Kens place is safe as I went there this morning. Ken was still hiding under the covers at his mums place. ;)
