I found out about a year and a half ago that I have idiopathic hypersomnia (basically narcolepsy). I thought Hypersomniac was a fun name that wouldn't be taken anywhere, so I went with it.

The avatar is a reflection of me always being tired.

My name is Chris, which should be fairly obvious and my avatar is a picture of a musician I greatly admire smoking a cigar. Does anyone know who it is?

The name Reevzy comes from a mate of mine commenting on an RAAF Mustang jumper I always wear that is dark blue with red sleeves. Red sleeves became Reevzy.

I then came up with the name Jack Reeves as my "internets" name which I use for forums and filling out forms that aren't important.

I use my real name, Gary, for filling out forms that are important.

My avatar is a crappy photoshop that a mate did of me many years ago, we'd paste each others faces in all sorts of weird and wonderfull heads, circumstances and..... erotic scenes

Are you blaming your mate for your avatar..??

Do you know a Duncan MacLeod?

My avatar is the 'Area Fumado' symbol, trademark property of Tatuaje Cigars Inc. which is a brand owned by Pete Johnson.

'Area Fumado' is Spanish and translates to mean 'Smoking Area'.

My name is just my name but abbreviated somewhat.

The name is just something that symbolizes my love for cigars.

The avatar is a picture of a Cuban tobacco farmer we visited on my trip to Cuba last October. The picture was taken in his tobacco curing barn on his farm just north of Pinar del Rio. He is rolling a cigar made of his tobacco and he gave it to me to smoke with him. Trip of a life time I'll never forget. Hope I get to go back some day.

The video of my visit with him can be found on Youtube. Search for "stogieluver" and you'll find the video.

As for my name it is pretty self explanatory, I love quality cigars and find enjoyment from time to time in the "finer" things in life.

For the avatar, it is a close-up of the ol' Dunhill logo, which is one ofmy favorites if all time. I am really in touch with effective, sleek, and creative advertising. I have taken many courses in advertising and marketing. And, I grew up at my dads advertising firm, and have always judged advertisements and logos/campaigns since.

I love the simplicity in the Dunhill logo, it simply says what it needs to with the extension of the D, H, & two Ls. There is a kind of serenity in simple designs such as theirs. Paired with the companies highly prized Cubans/ "selecciones supremos" from back when, their logo delivers a hint of luxury (or association with it for their product) as well as the simple/mundane-ness side of the table, as it is nothing more than one word with elongated letters. kind of like a yin yang it is. But for me, I am a very simple, easy-going guy but I do enjoy little luxuries in life like a fine cigar :)

Some probably will find all this strange and over-analyzing one single word- but it is what I do day in day out LoL

The name Surucipe is just the result of reversing the letters of Epicurus, a very interesting Greek philosopher and namesake of an enjoyable range of cigars by HDM. My avatar is a picture of Miguel Angel Jimenez, a Spanish professional golfer and great guy who does things his own way, also known for his love of cigars, wine and sports cars.

Funny this thread has been around for a little while and I never clicked on it until today, since I had already read everything else that seemed might interest me.

I chose my avatar as an old motivational techinuqe, where if you want something in life you have to picture yourself with it. In the past I have put pictures of houses and cars on the refrigerator, or desktop on the computer. This supposedly really does work and in my life it does. When I joined FOH in Aug 2011, I had no idea; how I would get this car, wether it would actually be built, could I even afford it. Well they began building these cars around June 2012 and delivering them around September.

The car is a Telsa Model S: All electric car. Made in California. Beats the BMW M5 and Dodge Viper in the quarter mile...as well as many much more expensive cars. It has 100% torque at all times as there is only one speed so no transmission shifts. It cost about $30-$40 a month in electricity to run it. I was paying $70 every fill up for the BMW and that was 2-3 times a month.

I picked my car up at the Service Center yesterday...loving it LOL!!!

My screenname is because I used to love that type of car, and drove it for the last 18.5 years until the Tesla Model S broke the cycle and there is no going back.

I guess I need to change my screen name. LOL!

Great thread!

OK. My avatar is a picture of me smoking a Trinidad Robusto T outside of the Arena in Verona Italy this past September. As for the FOH name....sigh.....

One of my best friends is Indian(East). So he'd toss some words in our conversations just for fun. As an Italian I'd always get asked about what the best nasty words can be used for effect. He is basically obliging me with a few words as well.

Bund = "ass". Wallah = "person".

As big fans of Seinfeld we both enjoyed the episode where Kramer gets someone else vanity plates that said "Ass Man". So I put together the above two words to make "Ass Man" in Indian. (And forgive me. India has tons of languages and dialects. So the actual language escapes me. But I believe its Hindi.)

I created the username "bundwallah" as a separate email identity to sign up for free tech stuff, promotions, forums :innocent: etc so that my actual email address wouldn't get bombarded with crap. Over time I've managed it down to a somewhat useful identity and have kept my email accounts with that name clean. So basically, its my username for "fun stuff" on the Internet that I don't want to associate with my regular ID. It was meant to be a toss away but it's become handy. :cigar:

That is great !

Avatar; A photograph I took of myself with the "cartoon" feature of my cell phone camera. Aptly titled "Big Cartoon Face" nyah.gif

Name; Othello was the name of one of my all time favorite cats. Othello was a large, beautiful, jet black Norwegian Forest Cat, named after one of my favorite Shakespeare characters. A mouser and climber extraordinaire, he never used those strong claws on me! He died in 2011 from an enlarged heart at just over eleven years of age. He fit in the palm of my hand when a friend gave him to me, and turned into a long, lean twenty pound mouse/rat hunting machine ........... he was also my favorite because he never stalked birds, almost like he knew I didn't want him to do that. So, the name is to pay homage to an old friend.......

By the way, my real name is Tim.........
