adic88 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 An outstanding cigar enjoyed on a quiet day at home.
PLUSH Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Dude, nice. One of my favs! I still cannot figure out you clock, at one point its 7:30 then later on 7:00 and then back to 7:20. I think you are just messing with us. LOL
fugwumpy Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Nice review! I really enjoy this cigar even though I've move to smaller guage most of the time. But, I'm with Plush, your clock is going backwards or something!
gginflo Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Great review, I've enjoyed every one I have ever smoked. Mirrors and trickery obviously involved with this production though. Aiz must be left handed, clock is reversed and his toilet flushes counter clockwise. Or is that only true in Austrailia?

docbp87 Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Fantastic review Aiz! I really love your perspectives on these reviews. I also love how cigar obsession and interest spans all nationalities (I mean, how many different cultures and countries are represented just here on this forum?) So cool. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
adic88 Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 Great review, I've enjoyed every one I have ever smoked. Mirrors and trickery obviously involved with this production though. Aiz must be left handed, clock is reversed and his toilet flushes counter clockwise. Or is that only true in Austrailia? Lol, blame the Macbook Air internal camera, it creates a mirror image. So everything is backwards. See the lettering on the cigar band, its like looking at it with a mirror. Thanks guys, the more i do these reviews, the more confidence i'm getting. I may pony up for a nice video camera one day as i really get into it.
Dbone Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Really looked like a great smoke you had Aiz. Thanks for sharing your time spent on this Partagas D4 with us. Keep them coming.
SteveGriff Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Great review - always much better when the smoker is enjoying the stick good or bad. Nice!
thechenman Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Aiz...really enjoy your video reviews. Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
cgarner Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Fantastic review! Makes me want to pull out a series D #4 and smoke along. But no smoking in doors for me.
LeafLover Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Bro, I must say by watching your review, that you really love smoking cigars!!!! Made me want to burn one immediately. PSD4 only robusto I smoke. I favor smaller ring gauges but this is only cigar that can pull me out of my comfort zone and leave me very satisfied.
joshsmith1 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 It makes me want to tear into the humidor this instant and light one up. I appreciate your insight on the differences, or lack there of, in allowing one to age for multiple years versus smoking it right off the truck. I myself have been saving one for nearly 3 or 4 years, and although I may not smoke it on any given day, I now know what to expect from it and will not feel as though my time was wasted in vain. I just wish that my most recent shipment were reconditioned already.
shrink Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 "The mark of a good cigar is that it doesn't get boring. A good cigar takes you on a journey." Well said.
cellinisart Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 No difference between 1 year and 6 years of age??? huh?....... you got a 6 year old dud then. Try going through the nose mate. It will help step up your pallet.
adic88 Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 No difference between 1 year and 6 years of age??? huh?....... you got a 6 year old dud then.Try going through the nose mate. It will help step up your pallet. Perhaps. Or perhaps 6 years isn't long enough for the PSD4? Differences were there of course, but small. Worth a 6 year wait for those small differences? That's a judgement call, i suppose. Never have figured out the retrohale trick yet, though i do french some smoke.

fred170 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Nice review. Definitely on of my personal favorites and first cuban I have ever smoked. PSD4 rocks!!!

bob25 Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Good Observation...I thought my smoke was laced with something..... Yea,what is up with that clock ? LOL ETA: just read above the explanation.
Hollywood414 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Dude, nice. One of my favs! I still cannot figure out you clock, at one point its 7:30 then later on 7:00 and then back to 7:20. I think you are just messing with us. LOL I know Macbook's have a mirror effect with the camera. That could be part of the reason it seems weird.
BonVivant Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 LRE AGO 09? is this the box code for the PSD4 reviewed? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
khamy Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I have a box from 2011 and they are smoking great, only 3 left but i also have a box from 2000 and they have definitely kicked up more then a few notches. Either way you go on the ageing debate, it was an enjoyable review to watch.
