El Presidente Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 How many Salamones does a master roller roll each day in a factory? In other words, if a roller was assigned to making Cuaba Salomones...what would his target for the day be? Have a guess?
adic88 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 100 a day? Hamlet rolled one for me many years ago, and it took him just a couple of minutes.
Fuzz Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Is this taking into account HSA restricting production? I'd say 85 on average.
Jesuscookies Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 140, unless he is working under a communist regime, then it is 8.
Wil Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 140, unless he is working under a communist regime, then it is 8. Pretty sure the communist regime would maximise production, just minimise what is given to the roller.
Leopolis Semper Fidelis Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Pretty sure the communist regime would maximise production, just minimise what is given to the roller. That would be about right!
rfenst Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 "Salomone (sahl-ah-MOAN-ay): A member of the diadema group of cigars, these very large figurados have pointed, tapered heads and bulbous feet with a nipple tip. The Cuaba Salomone measures 7 1/4 inches by 57 ring gauge. Due to their curves and the size, they are very hard cigars to roll, demanding a lot of skill and time. A top roller can make only about 50 or 60 in a day." CA

Habanos2000 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I'm guessing one every 10 minutes. So 6 per hour times a 7 hour day (?) equals 42 per day!
BradNC Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 51 a day (50 for the company and 1 to smoke while rolling = 51)
