adic88 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 The dreaded pinch test. It can make or break (literally) your cigar if its not been stored properly. 18 degrees celcius, 65% RH, cigar chiller setup. My outside temperature is about 25-28 degrees Celcius, occasionally spiking to 30 degrees. Make adjustments accordingly.
#2 man Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Two questions: no.1 can you do that not having smoked half ?Like straight out of the box? no.2 does that work even if your cigar isn't under filled ?
adic88 Posted November 20, 2010 Author Posted November 20, 2010 1. Yup. 2. Yup. The cigar in the video wasn't underfilled, perfect. Draw was firm and nice. Although, your point is well taken, some cigars are a lot more "solid", in that case, the "give" when you pinch it will obviously be less, but it should still be there, and the wrapper shouldn't crack.
