thechenman Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 They had a new firewall here at work that went into effect a few months back. Basically outside of the standard porn sites this firewall blocked access to all sites related to alochol, tobacco, cars, gambling, games, certain retail sites, social networking sites, etc. It became a serious pain in the arese. As much as I would have like to log in from home, that jsut wasn't possible as I had other obligations that took precedence like more work that I do from home, helping with my wife with our baby daughter after the nanny's shift ended, football practice, hockey practice, swimming, karate, Cub Scouts, and Chinese School for my son, helping my son with homework/projects, spending time with the wife and trying to find some time to get in some running before the snow starts falling. Luckily, this firewall became more of a hindrance than a benefit. We had problems accessing company websites like Ford, GM, Altria, and many other companies which we need, as we do research an financial analysis, or reference financials on these companies for comparison purposes. They decdied to rework it, so for now...I'm back up and running. Whoo hoo. Don't have an iPhone, but do have a Blackberry. However, accessing FoH on a BB is tough. Tapatalk is easier, but FoH is not Tapatalk capapble, at least not yet. I may need to get myself an iPad.... Thanks for the welcome back guys...
