Cohiba Lancero BN50 and BN50C

I saw a box, although aged, of 50 BNc sell at an auction recently.

Trevors website does not show the 50 BNc or the 50 BN as discontinued packaging. This leads me to believe that Habanos s.a. is still producing the Lancero in a 50 ct BNc or a BN, however I can't remember seeing this option for sale any time recently.

Does anyone know if this packaging has been discontinued?

Maybe the ones up for auction were diplomatic cigars? I don't know, just a stab in the dark.

The Habanos SA website doesn't list that packaging in their catalog...

After looking back at the pictures I think this was a special production for JJ Fox.

I'm pretty sure these packaging options were discontinued in the early-mid 80s. I've seen these at auction a few times before and I think all of the boxes were from the early 80s at the latest.
