I'm thinking November next year or Feb in 2012 (for the Festival).

The only thing that concerns me about the Festival is how to get mysefl invited to all those great events. From what i can see, it seems like an exclusive arrangement, and if you're "not in the know" then you won't be allowed to participate. Any feedback about this?

Tarks, where are you from geographically, what is your route to get to Havana?

As you may know, going during the festival there are a few events that just requires you to pay and you can attend - which will be listed on the Habanos festival website. For the exclusive events, thinks these are for the VIPs, sponsers and the like. If you are going during the festival I think you can forget about budgets, especially concerning food and accommodation.

I should be going in March 2012, after the festival, which should still be mild weather, minus the peak season crowd. Only thing is the tobacco crop would have completed harvesting already, but can still catch the curing at Pinar Del Rio. Will be my first time, too, so if you are going in March, we might catch-up for a smoke. Oh, the other drawback about March is probably that all the choice and other boxes with some age would have been picked over and bought by the festival crowd.
