As a Yankee hater for all of my life, my condolences to all of the Yankee fans out there. Don't worry though the Yankees have a plan, if they can't beat you (Cliff Lee) they buy you. Jeter is done, Pettite is done, Posada is done and there is only one Marianno out there. What will they do when the great Rivera retires? I know what they will do, they will lose.

Great organization no doubt. But no pennant this year, sorry George. Yankee fans have this sense of entitlement, WOW!!! Hit a nerve guys? :rotfl:

Started off as a Brooklyn Dodger fan. When they abandoned NY, became a Giants fan because of Willie Mays. When the Mets came to town in 1962 I became a Mets fan. Being a Mets fan is not easy you know. I wish the Mets did business as the Yankees do, but they don't. They are frustrating as hell and sometimes not easy to watch. They are the Mets. Ownership sucks, manager atrocious, not too many talented players. They are the Mets. At least I have the J E T S.

I, too, am happy to see them go. It is going to be great to see a team that has never won the championship lift the trophy!

as a Spurs fan, I'm a poster on a spurs forum and all the bandwaggoners are appearing from the woodwork to support the rangers.

the 27 rings argument is so shallow. you're only as good as you're last game
