Well, it looks like Hurricane Paula is getting ready to have her way with the Vuelta Abajo.

They are a little way away from planting in the Vuelta Abajo. The region is well use to hurricanes this time of year and it is a matter of battening down the cigar and non cigar infrastructure.

Saw this on the news tonight - on the radar, it shows the hurricane (now down to only a Category 1, still a big storm though), as just starting it's slow trudge along the western end of the island.

Fingers crossed for all who are there.
